Fur Care
It is very important you care for your new fur coat in the correct way. Please remember fur deformity or creases are normal and will occur during the shipping process! We've created this guide to make sure your fur coat looks gorgeous!
Step 1
Open your parcel and give your new fur coat a good shake. Don't worry if the coat looks flattened from the shipping process, this is normal. The coat will fluff up once you follow the following steps.
Step 2
Place your new fur coat on a hanger and hang it away from other items or clothing/objects. We recommend to permanently store your fur away from other objects however we recognize this may not be possible for everyone so we would advise hanging it away from other objects for at least a few days to allow the fur to plump up!
Step 3
This step is the most important! While your new fur is hanging in a clear space, it is very important you blow dry the fur.
This is key to plumping up the fur!
Use you hair dryer on the lowest speed and heat setting and slowly trace over the fur from approximately 5-10cm away. Repeat daily (or when you feel its needed) until the fur has reached your desired plumpness.
Now your new coat should be looking gorgeous, just like its new owner! We advise not to wear your fur coat on rainy days and to avoid storing it in small places where the fur can get squished.
Avoid spraying cosmetic products directly on the fur such as perfume, hair spray, etc. If you get your garment wet, simply shake the fur, removing as much water as possible and hand to dry at a room temperature. Please do not use hair dryer.
Use broad padded hanger and store in the darkest, coolest closet. Do not use a plastic garment bag to store your fur, natural fur needs air circulation to breathe and avoid drying out.
We recommend to clean your fur once a year by professional furrier cleaner. Even if you do not wear it as often, genuine fur gathers oils, dust, etc. Professional cleaning will add extra shine and keep it from becoming matted.
Enjoy!
XOXO,
